Flame on grand tour

THE Olympic flame will go on a 70-day tour around the UK after arriving in the country on May 18, 2012.
Organisers are hopeful that most of the country will get an opportunity to see the torch pass through their area before the Games begin.
Seb Coe, Chair of LOCOG, said: “The Olympic Torch Relay heralds the start of the London 2012 Games, bringing people across the UK together to celebrate the spirit of the Games. It will connect people and places, young people to sport and the UK to the rest of the world.”
